Kyra Campbell, D.V.M.

Dr. Campbell's Bio

Dr. Kyra Campbell spent most of her childhood just outside of Dallas, Texas. She always knew that she wanted to work with animals and had the opportunity to take multiple veterinary technical classes while in high school. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and a minor in Equine Science at the University of Arkansas. During her undergraduate years, she worked as a veterinary assistant at a local clinic for 5 years and fell in love with general practice. She then went on to attend the University of Missouri where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Cambell enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying out new cuisines, painting, and taking care of her many, mny plants! She also spends plenty of time with her two rescue dogs, Dobson and Castiel, that have stolen her heart. During school, Dr. Cambell had a special appreciation for avian medicine and participated in the Raptor Rehabilitation Project treating a variety of birds of prey, rehabilitating them until they were ready to release back into the wild. Her other interests include clinical pathology, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, and dermatology.
